This site has alts for every image and also has standard links making navigation a breeze. This site also has the Bobby logo on its site to show it cares about people with disabilty. The ordering is equally as easy to navigate and found no problems with this site at all.

This site also has standard hyperlinks as well as image buttons. The image buttons had alt text but we noticed a lot of other images didn't which made the site a little confusing. The ordering wasn't too bad and overall it came very close to winning our disabled access award.

If we had a Worlds Worst Disabled Award this site would win it. For a text only browser all you get is a blank page. You cannot do anything or look at anything on this site. It's the worst we've ever come across!

This site offers some really unique gifts for a loved one. Their site is seperated into 3 areas of gift ideas: Crystal, Jewelry and home decor. The site is easy to navigate and the shopping cart system is clear and easy to use with a running total of your orders always displayed on the page so you have no hidden shocks when you come to finalise the order.

Debenhams is a very well known UK brand name selling gift ideas, lingerie, flowers and festive gift ideas. Their site doesn't seem to work in all browsers. We tested it in Opera and it failed but Mozilla and Netscape seemed to work ok. A lot of their products are expensive but are truely unique like gliding, be a recording star, microlighting, light aircraft flying, Ferrari driving etc.

This site is riddled with images with no alt tags but we could still navigate the different areas of the site and we could place an order. If they don't have something in stock they only have a small message saying so and it wasn't clear that the message had appeared. For someone using a graphic browser it wouldn't be a problem but in a text browser we missed it the first couple of times because it doesn't stand out at all. Overall for a brand name as large as Debenhams we expected a lot better.

Most of their categories had text links but all the buttons on the site didn't have any text alternatives including the important buttons like add to order, check out, your account and return policies so we were unable to place any order using our text reader or text-to-speech reader.
