The first page had a few alt tags missing but
they didn't stop navigation. The home page is crammed full of links so text-to-speech readers might find this site hard going. We selected a few products and the descriptions were very detailed. They have alt text and standard text for most important navigation buttons which we really appreciate.
Although there were a few alt tags missing on some images they still had the standard text below the image on most of them. We award this site the double award because they have tried very hard to get this site to work.

Very nicely done. The layout is excellence, the descriptions are very detailed and they have the add to basket at the top and bottom of the page which is something we here at shopping sites listings really like. It really does look like Comet have spent a great deal of time making sure the site is accessible to the disabled and we really hope their hard work pays off. Comet wins our double rating!

We counted 23 img tags with no alt tags on the first page and most of these were navigational links. They did however have standard links at the bottom of the page. Once past the first page we could navigate around but again there are img tags all over the place which we find makes the navigation harder. The descriptions were quite detailed but we couldn't rent anything because the rent it button doesn't have alt text and when so many other images on the pages are the same finding it would prove a nightmare. This is one to miss if you use anything other than a graphic browser.
